Brother dearest is forever trying to get me to warm up to the idea of eating tiger lily petals. I'm sorry. But it's just weird.
He has finally snuck them in in a way that was just too pretty and tasty to resist. He made me some bruschetta. I am not entirely sure how he made it, but I think he fried it in olive oil as opposed to the traditional baking, and the topping was cold. I detected tomato, basil, feta and garlic. There were some other things, but I guess that will just have to be his secret.
He topped them with two fresh orange lily petals, and really, I just couldn't say no.
